Saying ‘car keys’ out loud may help find them!

A report in the Daily Telegraph today suggests that scientists believe that our ability to find lost items such as car keys can be enhanced by saying the name out loud.

Saying the name out loud can make the search much quicker and more accurate.

So in the morning when I am wandering round the house muttering “keys, wallet, phone” I can reassure my family I’m not prematurely senile but I am enhancing my cognitive processing.
